Mail Forwarding & Last-Mile Delivery
WEX International provides tailored mail forwarding, customs clearance and last-mile delivery services designed for e-commerce.
With our expertise, we ensure efficient admission, routing, and delivery of packages from global warehouses directly to Uruguay, Argentina, Paraguay and South American countries.

Air Freight Service: Air-shipping to final destinations, with individual tracking to reduce delivery times.

Customs Clearance: We offer fast postal customs clearance in each destination country, optimizing postal duty regimes and simplified customs regimes in each destination country.

Last Mile Fast-Track Service: Postal shipments containing e-commerce packages are generated at the origin warehouse using a robust system offered by Correo Uruguayo. This system will allow labels to be generated for the packages, a tracking number to be received for each one, grouping them into master containers and issuing the postal documentation necessary for the air transport of the cargo.

Service Guidelines & Terms
Tracking Request

The sender must access the Web Service (WS) provided by Correo Uruguayo to request international shipment tracking.

To proceed, the sender should follow the steps detailed in the integration technical document. In response, they will receive a byte array to generate a PDF shipping label in CN23 format for each transmitted record.
Shipment Preparation

Labeling & Tracking: Each package must include a CN23 tracking label with sender, recipient, and item details.

Dispatch Generation: The client must access the Correo Uruguayo remote terminal via VPN. Once connected, they should use the IPS system on the terminal to process parcels and generate dispatches.

Shipping Documentation: Shipping documents, including dispatch paperwork and tracking information, are generated through Correo Uruguayo’s IPS system.
Air Freight Solutions

Air Freight: Cargo should be shipped by air to each destination country using the client’s contracted freight forwarder.

Air Freight Services: If needed, WEX can arrange the best available air freight service for each destination through its business partners.

Shipping Documentation: Each shipment must include the required postal documentation and the corresponding Air Waybill (AWB).
